Workplace First Aid — Tailored Programmes
Overview
Every workplace is different. Your first aid training should be too.
Our Workplace First Aid programmes are built around your organisation’s risk assessment, environment, and workforce, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all course. We deliver exactly the level of training required to meet legal obligations — no padding, no shortcuts.
Training is designed in line with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the HSE’s Approved Code of Practice (L74), ensuring staff are confident, compliant, and prepared for real-world incidents.
Details
Workplace First Aid training can be delivered as a 1-day, 2-day, or blended programme, depending on your needs. Content is selected to match your risk profile and may include:
- Roles and responsibilities of a workplace first aider
- First aid legislation and employer duties
- Adult CPR and use of a defibrillator
- Managing unresponsive casualties
- Choking, seizures, bleeding, burns, and shock
- Incident assessment, communication, and casualty care
- Workplace-specific scenarios relevant to your environment
Programmes can align with Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW) outcomes where required, or be adapted for mixed or lower-risk settings.
Certification
Where applicable, learners receive a nationally recognised qualification, valid for 3 years. For bespoke or awareness-based programmes, certification reflects the scope and level of training delivered.
