This course is ideal for low-risk workplaces where a risk assessment recommends first aid training. It equips staff with essential first aid skills and knowledge.
Delivered in line with the HSE's Approved Code of Practice L74, the course meets Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 requirements.

This course covers essential lifesaving skills and workplace first aid procedures, including:
- Role of the First Aider
- First aid regulations and responsibilities
- Adult CPR (resuscitation)
- Effective communication and casualty care
- Managing adult seizures
- Treating bleeding (minor and severe)
- Recognising and treating shock
- Responding to burns
- Unresponsive casualty care
- Choking management
- Defibrillator pad placement and prompts
Certification
Participants receive a nationally recognised and accredited qualification, valid for 3 years.
