Stroke Awareness
Overview
Did you know that in the UK, every five minutes someone will fall victim to a stroke? Around 1 in 5 women and 1 in 6 men will have a stroke in their lives. That’s pretty high. Survival rates and quality of life can highly depend on the speed that support is given.
This in-depth training course, you will deepen your knowledge of the lifestyle and biological factors that cause strokes, how to recognise the signs of a stroke attack, stroke first aid procedures and post-stroke care provision.
