Safeguarding of Adults & Children – Awareness to Level 2
Overview
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
If you work with vulnerable individuals – including children, the elderly, or disabled individuals – you have a legal responsibility to guarantee their welfare.
This includes teachers, carers, childminders, and anyone else who routinely encounters vulnerable children and adults.
This Safeguarding course will help employees understand what to do when abuse is alleged or suspected, how it can be reported, and how to protect the individual.
It will also cover the mental capacity act and how this act helps to protect vulnerable adults, as well as highlighting the types of abuse that an adult may be exposed to and the signs and symptoms to look out for.
This course can be delivered from Awareness to Level 2.
